Door-to-Door Campaign Picks Up Pace in Ward 26’s Wakad, Kaspate Wasti Ahead of Civic Polls

Wakad, January 7: A BJP padyatra organised for the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation general elections received an enthusiastic response from voters in Ward No. 26. The padyatra was held in support of BJP’s official candidates Adv. Vinayak Gaikwad, Aarti Chondhe, Sneha Kalate, and Sandip Kaspate, with special emphasis on direct door-to-door campaigning.

The campaign was carried out in a disciplined and planned manner, covering several lanes and residential localities in the Wakad area. The candidates interacted directly with citizens, listening to their concerns and assuring them of sustainable and all-round development of the ward. Residents expressed strong support, offering blessings and extending best wishes for the candidates’ victory. Women party workers and senior citizens participated in large numbers.

The padyatra commenced at 10 am and covered areas such as Shedge Vasti, Bhausaheb Kalate Nagar, Sheikh Vasti, Nandanvan Colony, and nearby localities around the Datta Mandir. Women voters welcomed the candidates with traditional aarti, while senior citizens conveyed their blessings and hopes for success.

During the outreach, interactions were also held with residents of First Estate, Radhai Heights, Paras Vista, and Alliance Nisarg Leela societies. The candidates highlighted development works undertaken during the BJP’s tenure and shared information about various civic projects aimed at strengthening local infrastructure and public facilities. Emphasising a forward-looking approach, the candidates reiterated their commitment to comprehensive and sustainable development of the ward.
