Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar inspected the works of Katraj-Kondhwa road. He expressed satisfaction with the road work. He said that the issue of providing funds of Rs 200 crores by the state government for this work will soon be raised in the cabinet meeting.

Pawar said that Katraj Chowk flyover should be extended by 650-700 meters. The road should be widened from Khadi Machine Chowk onwards. He directed to open the one-way road from Khadi Machine Chowk to Kanha Hotel immediately. He personally thanked those who handed over their land to the PMC for the road.

Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vikram Kumar gave information about the road work. He said that as per the instructions of the Deputy Chief Minister, a detailed project report regarding this work has been submitted to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of the Central Government.

On this occasion, MLA Chetan Tupe, PMC Additional Commissioner Vikas Dhakane, Superintending Engineer of Public Works Department Bappa Bahir, Executive Engineer Amol Pawar, Mahesh Patil of National Highways Authority of India etc were present.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was felicitated on this occasion on behalf of the citizens of the area. As per the instructions of the Deputy Chief Minister, the traffic on one side of the road has been started.
