Pune: Ganesh Festival 2023 has begun in full swing amidst fun and devotion for the next 10 days. As many people from both inside and outside the city come to see the decorations and plays put up by the Ganesh mandals, the city roads become congested due to heavy traffic and illegal parking. The traffic police, in collaboration with colleges and schools within the limits of the city, have set up special parking places for the guests during this time.

As confirmed by Priya Tilekar, Traffic Police Sub Inspector, Pune Traffic Police, there are 26 designated parking spaces in Pune where festival-goers can park their cars and enjoy the festivities with family and friends.

Following are the parking spots for visitors:

· Two-wheeler parking at New English School, Ramanbaug

· Two & Four-wheeler parking Near Mutha River Basin

· Two-wheeler parking at Shivaji Maratha School

 Two-wheeler parking at Natubaug

· Two & Four-Wheeler parking at Shivaji Akhada

· Two & Four-wheeler parking at Hamalwada, Near Patrya Maruti

· Two-wheeler parking at Gogate Prashala

· Two-wheeler parking at SP College

· Two-wheeler parking at Mitra Mandal Sabhagruha

· Two-wheeler parking at Parvati to Dandekar Bridge

· Two-wheeler parking at Dandekar Bridge to Ganesh Mala

· Two-wheeler parking at Ganesh Mala to Rajaram Bridge

· Two & Four-wheeler parking at Nilayam Talkies

· Two-wheeler parking at Vimlabai Garware College
