Pune: Ahead of Ganeshotsav 2023, citywide tours to the famous Ganesh Mandals of Pune will begin from September 19.
As per information from Sukhbir Singh, Tour Guide, Tourism Guide Association (Maharashtra) and Directorate of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra, is organizing several tours of prominent Ganesh Mandals.
The tour will begin from Shaniwar Wada and will cover Kasba Ganpati, Tambdi Jogeshwari, Tulshibaug, Guruji Talim, Dagdusheth Halwai and Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganapati.
There will be 2 batches per day with a maximum of 25 people on each trip. The package is priced at Rs 300 per Indian tourist (Bookings available on BookMyShow). Each group will travel to Ganesh Mandals & will have VIP access to pandals with a tour guide.
For September 19, there will be only one tour as, in the morning time, due to the Sthapana of Ganapati & its pooja & other things, tourists may not get to access Ganesh Darshan & its full experience.
Hence, only for September 19, only one tour will be there which will start at 3 p.m. From September 30 onwards, there will be regular 2 tours daily i.e. 10 am tour & 3 pm tour.
It is a one-of-a-kind programme and provides a mix of historical, cultural, culinary, religious, and spiritual experiences.
