Go First has announced the cancellation of its flights until May 9 due to operational reasons, and it has also suspended the sale of tickets until May 15.

The airline has been facing a crisis due to the non-supply of engines by Pratt & Whitney, which has resulted in the grounding of more than half of its fleet.

In light of these developments, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued a refund order to Go First under the prevailing regulations, directing the airline to process refunds to passengers as per the timelines stipulated in the relevant regulation.

These developments come amidst the ongoing hearing before the Delhi bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) of the voluntary insolvency resolution proceedings filed by Go First on Tuesday.
