Green Initiative: 60KV Solar System Installed at Sai Saheb Society, Pimple Saudagar, Residents to Benefit
Pimple Saudagar: Sai Saheb Society took a significant step towards energy self-reliance on Sunday with the installation of a 60KV solar power system. The project was inaugurated at the hands of Ex Opposition Leader Vitthal alias Nana Kate, who also performed the Ganesh Aarti at the society during the ceremony.
The society, which comprises around 132 flats, will now generate up to 60KV of electricity through solar energy. This initiative is expected to bring a substantial reduction in the residents’ monthly electricity bills and contribute to long-term financial savings. The installation work was carried out by Solartech Company.
Speaking on the occasion, Nana Kate expressed his delight at societies in Pimple Saudagar becoming increasingly self-sufficient in energy.
The event was attended by committee members of Sai Saheb Society, including Shreyash Bellari, Shivram Latpate, Pritam Patil, Atma Matai, Smita Ladhe, Chetan Visal, Amit Butle, Amol Patil, along with residents and citizens of the area.
