Here’s how to record WhatsApp calls in Android and ios device 

WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is a highly popular instant messaging application that enables users to exchange text, documents, images, and more, including voice and video messages, with other users on the platform. 

Additionally, users have the ability to make voice and video calls. Although WhatsApp’s voice calls serve as a substitute for regular calls for most users, it does not provide the functionality to record voice or video calls.

However, if you are seeking to record WhatsApp calls, there is no need to worry. We have included a few alternative methods below to assist you in recording WhatsApp calls on Android or iOS devices. 

To record WhatsApp voice calls on Android, the process is as simple as making regular phone calls. There is an application called Call Recorder: Cube ACR that allows users to record WhatsApp calls without any cost. Follow the steps below to install and utilize this application effectively:

To record WhatsApp voice calls on an iOS device, you will need to have a Mac computer. Please follow the steps below to learn the full process:

1. Open the Google Play Store on your phone and search for the Cube ACR.

2. Install the app on your Android phone.

3. Once the app is installed, open it and complete the setup.

4. Tap on the three-line icon located at the top.

5. From the menu options that appear, select “Recording”.

6. Proceed to make a WhatsApp voice call, and the app will automatically record and save the voice calls to your device.

Please note that the aforementioned steps are applicable only for Android devices. Unfortunately, there is currently no app available for iOS devices that allows you to record WhatsApp voice calls. However, if you have a Mac computer, you can still record WhatsApp voice calls.

To complete the process, follow these steps:

1. Connect your iPhone to a Mac using a cable.

2. Tap Trust this computer on your iPhone.

3. Then, open the QuickTime app on Mac and select the File menu at the top.

4. Choose New Audio Recording.

5. Now, select the down-drop icon next to the record icon and choose iPhone.

6. Click on the record button.

7. Initiate a WhatsApp call from your iPhone to your phone.

8. Once the call is connected, dial the person you wish to record.

9. Finally, end the call and recording, and save the recording on your Mac.

Instructions for Recording WhatsApp Video Calls on Android Phones without Built-in Screen Recorder If your Android phone does not have a built-in screen recording feature, you can still record WhatsApp video calls using a third-party screen recording app. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Download and install a screen recording app from the Google Play Store.

Step 2: Open the app and adjust the settings as per your preference.

Step 3: Start the app and click on the record button before making a WhatsApp video call.

Step 4: Once done, stop the recording, and it will be saved on your phone.

If your phone is running on an Android version below Android 11 or if it lacks a built-in recorder, you will need to install a third-party screen recorder app. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Access the Google Play Store on your phone.

2. Search for and install a third-party app such as XRecorder.

3. Once the app is installed, open it and grant the required permissions.

4. Choose the desired recording settings and tap the record button to initiate screen recording before initiating a call.

5. Now, navigate to WhatsApp and initiate the video call.

If you are using an iPhone, you have the ability to easily record WhatsApp video calls. This is due to the built-in screen recording feature that is available on all devices running iOS 11 or above. To utilize this feature and record your video calls, follow these steps:

1. Begin by accessing the Control Centre on your iPhone’s home screen. To do this, simply swipe down from the top of the screen.

2. Within the Control Centre, you will find the option for Screen Recording. If you are unable to locate it, you can navigate to Settings > Control Centre and add Screen Recording to the list of active controls.

3. Tap on the Screen Recording icon within the Control Centre to initiate the recording. Ensure that the microphone is enabled to capture audio during the call.

4. Open WhatsApp and proceed to make a video call that you wish to record. 5. Once you have finished the call, stop the recording. The recorded video call will then be saved on your device for future reference.
