Hinjewadi Horror: Two Kids Killed, Two Injured As Drunk Bus Driver Rams Into Pedestrians And Two-Wheeler At Jambhulkar Chowk
Pune, 1 December 2025: In a tragic road accident at Jambhulkar Chowk on Monday evening, two school-going children lost their lives after being hit by a travel bus. The incident occurred around 6:00 pm when the bus, travelling from Shivaji Maharaj Chowk towards Indian Oil Chowk, allegedly rammed into a woman and her two children — one girl and one boy — who were accompanying her.
Both children died on the spot due to the severe impact.
Nitin Upadhye, a citizen journalist told Pune Pulse that the bus driver lost control over the bus and rammed into the pedestrians. It went ahead and collided onto the biker and further hit a Distribution Point box.
The bus then went on to hit a two-wheeler rider, causing further injuries.
The woman and a man sustained injuries in the collision and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Traffic police and local police teams reached the scene promptly and have begun further investigation into the incident.
