Hit-and-Run Tragedy in Mumbai Claims Life of Young Model
Mumbai witnessed another hit-and-run tragedy as a 25-year-old model, Shivani Singh, was killed by a speeding water tanker in Bandra. The incident occurred on Friday night around 8 PM on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road. Shivani was riding pillion on a bike with her friend when the tanker hit their two-wheeler from behind.
The impact caused Shivani to fall off the bike and come under the wheels of the tanker. Passersby rushed her to Bhabha Hospital, but doctors declared her dead on arrival. The tanker driver fled the scene after the accident.
Shivani Singh was at the beginning of a promising career. Recently, she got her biggest break when she walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week, marking her first international show. Tributes poured in, including a post by “Bigg Boss OTT 2” contestant Aashika Bhatia mourning Shivani’s death.
