IAS couple’s 27 year old daughter dies by suicide in Mumbai

Mumbai- In a shocking incident, IAS Officer Vikas Rastogi’s daughter, a 27-year-old, committed suicide by jumping from a 10-storeyed building named Suniti on Monday around 4 am in Mumbai. She ended her life by jumping from a building located opposite Mantralaya. After jumping, she was admitted to GT Hospital immediately. However, the doctors declared her dead. A note was found in the officer’s house before she ended her life.

Lipi Rastogi, is the daughter of Maharashtra cadre IAS officers Radhika and Vikas Rastogi, was taken to hospital but died during treatment.

Vikas Rastogi is Principal Secretary in Maharashtra’s Education Department, while Radhika Rastogi is Principal Secretary in the state’s Home Department.

This incident has created a tense atmosphere in the area. The primary suspicion behind the suicide is anxiety over her academic performance.
