Recently, a passenger on an IndiGo flight discovered cockroaches in the galley, sparking concerns about hygiene practices on board. Tarun Shukla, a social media user, brought attention to the issue through a video.

Mr. Shukla expressed his dismay, stating that finding cockroaches in the food area of a plane is unacceptable. He urged IndiGo to investigate how this could happen, especially since they typically operate relatively new Airbus A320s.

Following the video, public worries about hygiene grew. In response, IndiGo took immediate action by cleaning and disinfecting their entire fleet to ensure passenger safety. The airline apologized for any inconvenience caused and reiterated its commitment to cleanliness.

However, some social media users criticized the airline for not maintaining proper hygiene standards. One user mentioned their dissatisfaction with international flights, citing delays and lack of complimentary drinks. Another user expressed disappointment with IndiGo’s decline in service quality, suggesting the need for a new budget carrier
