The deadline for submitting the retention list was October 31 at 5 PM IST, and CSK opted to retain Dhoni as an uncapped player. Leading the retentions is Ruturaj Gaikwad, the franchise’s top retention choice, while key players Shivam Dube, Matheesha Pathirana, and Ravindra Jadeja also remain on board.
