IT professional beaten up for demanding explanation over society maintenance charges in Charholi

Pune: A 36 year old IT professional was beaten up and sustained fracture to his finger in a fight that broke out during a society meeting in Kingsbury Pride World City Housing Society in Charholi area Pimpri Chinchwad city, said police. The incident happened on 26 March at around 11:30 am in the community hall of the housing society on the first floor.

Police told that a meeting of society officer bearer was called on Sunday 26 March to discuss many issues including handing over of society from the concerned builder. At that time, the victim Manoranjan Kumar Satendra Singh raised several questions including how much of the amount will the builder provide to run the housing society. He also questioned that, builder had taken almost 2 years of maintenance cost from the flat owner while booking the flat.

During the meeting there were heated arguments between the accused including Mandeep Singh, chairman of society Shrinivas Rakale with the victim. There were heated arguments between both parties. Issue further escalated that, according to the victim, the accused abused him and Mandip Singh beat him up so badly in which the victim sustained finger fracture. Another accused, Shrinivas Rakale assaulted the victim by using an iron weapon and injured the victim.

Police officials from the Dighi police station told that, we have booked two persons in this case under sections of 325,324,504,506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. As of now no arrest has been made in this case.
