Car can be modest, but love for cars and creativity knows no bounds. Mohammad Arif, a skilled mechanic from Chandil in Jharkhand, has taken this passion to the next level by transforming a humble Maruti 800 into a dazzling Lamborghini-style car. The jaw-dropping modification, crafted entirely in his small workshop, has gone viral on social media, leaving car enthusiasts amazed. What makes this feat even more remarkable is that Arif achieved it by spending just Rs 4 lakh—a tiny fraction of a real Lamborghini’s price.
Mohammad Arif meticulously hand-crafted most of the transformation himself, avoiding ready-made kits commonly used in professional garages. He cut, welded, and shaped the car’s panels to create aggressive, angular lines inspired by Lamborghini’s iconic design. To achieve a low and wide stance, the tall, boxy Maruti 800 underwent significant structural changes. Wheel arches were flared, lightweight fiberglass panels were added, and the body was reshaped to give it a sporty, supercar appearance. The car now boasts a large rear wing, deep front splitters, and upgraded 16-inch alloy wheels, replacing the original 12-inch set.
The transformation didn’t stop at the exterior. The cabin has been redesigned into a sporty two-seater layout complete with a sunroof—a feature absent in the original Maruti 800. Custom LED headlamps and a striking neon green paint finish complete the eye-catching look, making this “desi supercar” truly stand out.
Despite its Lamborghini-inspired exterior, the car retains the stock 796cc three-cylinder petrol engine, producing around 37–40 bhp and 56–59 Nm of torque. While it may not match the speed and performance of a real Lamborghini, the unique styling and craftsmanship have captured the imagination of viewers across social media platforms.
