Kaas plateau blossoms draw tourists in large numbers

Pune: Tourists are thronging in large numbers to see the blossoming flowers on the Kaas Plateau in Satara. There was also a huge crowd of tourists due to the consecutive holidays last week.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Somnath Budhale, Branch Officer, Kaas Committee said, “The consecutive holidays is the reason for the increase in the tourists at Kaas Plateau. The number of buses by which tourists were dropped at the plateau also increased.”

As per further information from Somnath Budhale, earlier, around 3 thousand people used to visit the Plateau. However, on October 1, as many as 4 to 5 thousand tourists came to see the rare flowers of the Kaas flower plateau during these consecutive holidays.

The Kaas Valley of Flowers, known as the paradise of Satara, has been full of flowers for the past few days. Now tourists have started visiting to see these flowers. Due to the consecutive holidays that started on Thursday ( September 28), many tourists visited Kaas and were overwhelmed to see nature’s beauty.

A private bus facility had been arranged to bring the tourists coming to Kaas Plateau from the parking lot. At other times, tourists are brought to Kaas Plateau through two buses. However, seeing the crowd this time, as many as 10 buses were provided by the Kaas Committee for the upcoming holidays, through which tourists were being brought to the Kaas Flower Plateau to see flowers.

On the Kaas Plateau, people can see all kinds of flowers, which are very rare and the environment on the plateau also doubles the happiness of the tourists.
