Kalpataru Harmony residents in Wakad irked over continous accidents

For the past several months, residents of Kalpataru Harmony in Wakad are facing severe risk due to increasing accidents outside the society gate near F building.
Society’s chairman Pradip Nair speaking to Pune Pulse stated that there are severe accidents taking place at the gate near F building our society. We have already requested the local corporator in the past. We are hoping that the Traffic department takes immediate steps and installs speed breakers, rumbler strips. That area is a blind spot and often leads to accidents throughout the day.

When Pune Pulse spoke to traffic department officials from Wakad traffic division, Satish Mane, an official stated, “We will inform the concerned officers of the area to inspect the spot and understand the reason behind the accidents. Thereafter, necessary changes will be made,” said Satish Mane of Traffic Department.”
Nair further said that the former corporator Sandeep Kaspate arranged for a mirror and also following it up with PCMC authorities.
