Kalyani Nagar residents appreciate exemplary efforts of traffic management of Yerawada Traffic Police Senior Inspector

Pune: Residents of Kalyani Nagar have lauded the efforts of Traffic Police Senior Inspector Shailesh Sankhe for managing traffic efficiently at Gold Adlabs Chowk etc in Kalyani Nagar.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Shailesh Sankhe, Senior Police Inspector, Yerawada Traffic Police said, “So far, the traffic police has been putting all its efforts in effectively managing traffic flow at Gold Adlabs Chowk and elsewhere. Also, to manage it more effectively henceforth, we are planning to implement some things such as increasing the traffic signal timings at Gold Adlabs Chowk signals, deploying more traffic wardens, taking strict action against wrong-side drivers, and more. Setting a consistent traffic signal timing is crucial as it impacts the entire traffic flow.”

In appreciation of Sankhe’s efforts, Kalyani Nagar residents state that Sankhe has been promptly responding to the complaints of residents and taking necessary actions to ease the traffic flow. His proactive approach towards restricting wrong-side driving and managing traffic has been laudable. The steps taken by him have significantly reduced the congestion and improved the overall traffic scenario in the area.

It is noteworthy that he has also been working closely with the DCP Vijaykumar Magar to address the issue of insufficient traffic force in the area. Despite the limitations, Sankhe has been striving hard to ensure smooth traffic movement, often going beyond his call of duty. His tireless efforts have earned him the respect and gratitude of all residents.
