Kondhwa Police arrest fugitive person for entering Pune without permission & keeping weapons
The Kondhwa Police have arrested a fugitive person on 10th February 2024 as he had entered Pune city without permission from the authorities. Also, he had kept a sharp & dangerous weapon with him.
As per further information shared by Santosh Sonawane, Senior Police Inspector, Kondhwa Police Station,
Senior Police Inspector Santosh Sonwane, Police Inspector (Crime) Mansingh Patil had given an order to trace the accused who was wanted from Kondhwa Police Station and take relevant actio.
According to the said order, Lekhaji Shinde, Assistant Police Inspector, Kondhwa Police Station, and the investigation team had been searching from time to time to find out about the whereabouts of the fugitive accused.
On 10/02/2024, Police Constable Amol Hirve received a reliable information that Arbaz Patel, a wanted criminal in Kondhwa Police Station, is sleeping in an under-construction Building adjacent to P.J.K.M. School opposite Lane 3, Kakdevasti.
According to the information received, when the investigation team went to the under-construction building in Kakadewasti, one person was seen sleeping. By going near the said sleeping person, it was confirmed that the accused Arbaz Ahmed Patel was the person sleeping.
While detaining him, an iron sickle-like weapon was found under his bed and the said weapon has been seized from him. The said accused has been heckled from Pune City Police Commissionerate, Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate and Pune district limits, yet he violated this & entered Pune without obtaining legal permission and was found while carrying a weapon.
Therefore, a case has been filed against him at Kondhwa Police Station and he has been arrested.
The said operation was done under the guidance of Amitesh Kumar, Commissioner of Pune Police, Manoj Patil, Additional Commissioner of Police, Eastern Regional Division, R Raja, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ward 05, Santosh Sonwane, Senior Inspector of Police, Mansingh Patil, Inspector of Police (Crime) by Assistant Police Inspector Lekhaji Shinde, Assistant Police Inspector Dinesh Patil & Police officers Amol Hirve, Abhijit Ratnaparkhi, Jaydev Bhosle, Vikas Margale, Rahul Thorat, Suhas More, Abhijit Jadhav, Ashish Garud, Rohit Patil.
