Kondhwa Police conducts route march ahead of festivals

Pune: In view of many upcoming festivals of different religions, a route march was conducted by Kondhwa Police in its limits on September 14.

As per information shared by Santosh Sonawane, Senior Police Inspector, Kondhwa Police Station, upcoming festivals such as Rakshabandhan, Krishna Jayanti, Dahi Handi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid-e-Milad, Anant Chaturthi, Ghatasthapana, Dussehra and Diwali will be celebrated. Hence, Danga Kabu Yojana (riot control) and a route march was conducted by Kondhwa Police.

After that, information was given to all the staff by Sandeep Bhosle, Police Inspector Crime about frequent patrolling finished at 18:58 pm.

Also, on the occasion of upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid-e-Milad, Anant Chaturthi, Ghatasthapana, Dussehra, Diwali & upcoming festival celebrations, starting from Ashirwad Chowk at 19:05 pm along with all the officers present to Karun Satyanand Hospital, Badshah Nagar Society, Konark Puram Society, Bhairavnath Temple – Bhimnagar Narveer Tanaji Malusare Chowk Jyoti Hotel Chowk ICICI Bank, Narveer Tanaji Malusare Chowk, Sant Gadge Baba School, Bhairavnath Temple Ashirwad Chowk, Ashoka Muse Society & Kondhwa Police Station, the route march took place & ended at 19:30 pm.

After the route march was done, 30 police officials came to Kondhwa Police Station for a briefing after which the entire event ended.
