The Kondhwa Police have swiftly reacted to a cyber fraud case by recovering a Kondhwa person’s stolen money in just 2 weeks.

As per information from Santosh Sonawane, Senior Police Inspector Kondhwa Police & Nilesh Shelar, Police Constable Kondhwa Police, Kondhwa Police received an application in the first half of August 2023 regarding money being withdrawn from the applicant’s bank account. 

The applicant’s E-Wallet ID and password of MOBIKWIK was taken over by unknown people and his bank account was taken over. Rs 60 thousand was the amount withdrawn by unknown names.

After contacting the concerned nodal company immediately by phone and email, a total of Rs 58,500 have been recovered from the said amount. The Kondhwa police are after the lookout of the cyber fraudsters & will soon catch them.

The said proceedings were conducted under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Santosh Sonawane & other senior police officers by Police Constable Nilesh Shelar.
