In a significant move for Konkan’s development, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated the ‘Shasan Aplya Daari program in Lonere, Raigad district. 

During the inauguration, the Chief Minister announced a provision of 500 crores for the Konkan Region Development Authority. The initiative is poised to bring substantial progress to the region, with highlights including the emergence of a new industry valued at 20 thousand crores to enhance employment opportunities.

Further allocations include 15 crores earmarked for the construction of the Mangaon Municipal Council and an additional 15 crores designated for the construction of a rest house for those visiting Pawankhind. These endeavors underscore the government’s commitment to fostering economic growth and infrastructure development in the Konkan region.

So far two crore one lakh 91 thousand 803 beneficiaries have been directly benefited from the ‘Shasan Apya Dari’ programme. 1700 crore benefits have been given to 26 lakh beneficiaries in Raigad district. 500 crore has been earmarked for the Konkan Region Development Authority. 

New industry worth 20 thousand crores is coming to increase employment opportunities in Konkan. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that the Mumbai-Goa highway will be completed by December 24, Mangaon Municipal Council will give 15 crores for the construction, and 15 crores for the rest house for those going to Pawankhind.

The Chief Minister assured that we will do whatever is necessary for the development of Konkan.
