“Krushnagaan” – an episodic description of Lord Krishna’s life through Bharatnatyam to be performed in Pune

Pune, August 22: Nrutyanjali Dance Academy presents ‘Krushnagaan’ – a mesmerizing repertoire of Bharatnatyam on Lord Krishna’s life, as the Institute is all set to enter its 25th year. Dance and music admirers can delve into this soulful evening on Sunday, 27th August at the MES Auditorium, Kothrud at 5.45 pm.

The act is conceptualized by Guru Mita Pathak and is choreographed by Sandhya Dharm and Mita Pathak. It will be performed by artists like Guru Mita Pathak, Avani Javakhedkar, Arya Gijare, Sakshi Pasakanti, Darshana Pasakanthi, Janhavee Kashelikar, Ankita Javakhedkar, Nidhi Shivapuji, Ananya Neharkar and Yashashree Jadhav.

The event will unfold with episodic descriptions of Lord Krishna’s life in the fascinating worlds of Gokul, Vrindavan, and Mathura. This artistic journey will also highlight the Divine’s influence on individuals and will be presented to us in the forms of movement and storytelling.
