Lift at Akurdi station open for passengers

Pune: The Pune Railway Division is dedicated to providing superior amenities to its passengers. In line with this commitment, a new lift was installed at Akurdi station which has now been thrown open for the convenience of passengers on Thursday.

As per the information provided, the newly constructed lift, located at platform no.2 of Akurdi station, was inaugurated by Member of Parliament of Maval constituency Shrirang Barane, in the presence of Divisional Railway Manager Indu Dubey.

During the inauguration, Barne expressed his belief that the new lift will benefit senior citizens, disabled individuals, and other passengers, as it will enable them to easily access the platform.

The program was attended by Chief Project Manager Prakash Upadhyay, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Dr. Milind Hirve, and a large number of officers and employees. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Dr. Milind Hirve coordinated the event and was concluded by Divisional Commercial Manager Dr. Ramdas Bhise.
