Luxury Car Rampage in Pune Injures One, Damages 10 Motorcycles On MG Road 

Pune: A severe accident occurred in Jafrin Lane off Kedari Road at 3.10 pm yesterday, where a luxury car, driven by a man suffering a seizure, veered out of control, injuring one pedestrian critically and damaging ten motorcycles.

The driver of the Mercedes, identified as 32-year-old Ravindra Dhanwade from Shirdi, reportedly lost control after suffering a seizure, causing the vehicle to collide with multiple two-wheelers parked along the narrow lane. The accident resulted in serious injuries to Mohammad Anis Shoukat Ali Khatri, a 29-year-old resident of Madhya Pradesh. Khatri was rushed to Jehangir Hospital after the car crushed his foot.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Smartna Patil detailed the incident: “The car rammed into several motorcycles parked on both sides of the lane and also injured some people. Among them, Mohammad Anis Shoukat Ali Khatri suffered severe injuries.”

Police have detained Dhanwade and initiated an investigation to further understand the circumstances leading to the incident. As the local community reels from the shock, authorities are also assessing the safety of the busy lane, frequented by pedestrians and two-wheeler traffic.
