Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: PMC introduces ‘Know Your Polling Station’ rooms

Ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has launched a “Know Your Polling Station” initiative, establishing dedicated rooms in 15 regional offices across Pune city. This facility aims to assist voters in locating their designated polling stations easily. The PMC encourages voters to make use of this service to ensure a smooth voting experience.

With an increase in voter registrations across Pune, adjustments have been made to polling stations, and their numbers have risen. Due to these changes, voters may find that their polling stations have shifted since the previous Lok Sabha elections.

The “Know Your Polling Station” rooms, operational from September 23, 2024, will remain active until the end of polling hours on election day. Voters can either call or visit their nearest regional office to confirm their polling station. This support is provided to increase voter turnout and facilitate an efficient voting process.
