Police Inspector Kumar Ghadge, speaking to Pune Pulse, confirmed that the operation began at NIBM Chowk in Kondhwa, specifically targeting reckless drivers of heavy vehicles. These vehicles not only pose a safety risk but also frequently spill cement onto the road, creating hazards for two-wheelers, contributing to road congestion, and deteriorating road quality.
