Libraries completing 50, 75, and 100 years will receive special incentive grants, while 1,706 cancelled library approvals will be replaced with new sanctioned libraries to improve reading facilities across the state.

Maharashtra to Set Up Department of Science and Technology

Recognising the importance of technology in governance, CM Fadnavis proposed establishing a Science and Technology Department in Maharashtra, similar to other states. He directed officials to study other states’ models and prepare an action plan for its implementation.
