Maharashtra Weather Update, October 30, 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall across parts of western Maharashtra, including Pune, Solapur, Satara, Sangli, and Kolhapur districts. Following the weakening of Cyclone Mointha, a low-pressure area has shifted towards Vidarbha, resulting in widespread cloudy and rainy conditions across the state.

According to the IMD, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely over Vidarbha and north Maharashtra regions today. Residents are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions.

Pune District: The city recorded a maximum temperature of 30.9°C on Tuesday. Today, the IMD forecasts thunder and light to moderate rainfall with temperatures expected to hover around 30°C.

Satara District: The maximum temperature was recorded at 30.2°C in the past 24 hours. Cloudy skies with light showers are expected, particularly over the ghat regions, with a maximum temperature of around 29°C.

Kolhapur District: The district registered 27.6°C as the maximum temperature on Wednesday. The forecast indicates cloudy skies with moderate rainfall over the next 24 hours, especially in the hilly areas.

Solapur District: Solapur recorded a maximum temperature of 28.2°C and 0.4 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours. The IMD predicts light rain and cloudy skies today, with temperatures likely around 32°C.

Sangli District: The district reported a maximum temperature of 29.8°C and 0.2 mm rainfall. Cloudy skies with light showers are likely today, with maximum temperatures near 28°C.

Overall, western Maharashtra continues to experience fluctuating temperatures and intermittent rainfall. The IMD has advised residents in Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, and Solapur to remain cautious, as thunderstorms with lightning are expected in several parts of the region.
