Mass gathering for peace and harmony in Manipur held in Pune
Association of Manipuri Diaspora (AMAND), Pune had organized a mass gathering for peace and harmony in Manipur. The silent gathering was held on 10 May 2023 at Aundh, Pune.Â
The purpose of this event is to promote peace, unity, and harmony in Manipur as well as in Pune among all communities and to express sympathy and regret for the unfortunate incident. The event was received well with heart-warming attendance from various communities with different age groups such as students, elderly, and women.Â
All attended enthusiastically voiced in unison for immediate restoration of peace in Manipur.
AMAND Vice President, Irom Jiten, thanked the supporters for their unconditional support, understanding, the spirit of unity, and mutual respect demonstrated during the event. The gathering also prayed by lighting candles and observed a two-minute silence for those who suffered and lost their lives in the unfortunate incident. Â
