Child prodigy from Himachal Pradesh became the youngest surgeon in the world at just 7 years old.

At just 17,  Akrit Jaswal was already working towards a master’s degree in chemistry. This remarkable Indian prodigy boasts an IQ of 146, and his impressive academic achievements have drawn international media spotlight, including a feature on the renowned Oprah Winfrey Show.

At the young age of seven, he rose to prominence after successfully conducting surgery on an eight-year-old burn victim, a remarkable achievement that earned him the distinction of being the “world’s youngest surgeon.”

Akrit Jaswal is a remarkable individual. Born on April 23, 1993, in Nurpur, Himachal Pradesh, he grew up in a middle-income family and exhibited extraordinary intelligence from an early age. Reports indicate that he began walking and talking at just 10 months old, and by the time he was two, he had already acquired basic reading and writing skills.

As Akrit matured, his remarkable talents became increasingly evident, particularly when he started reading classic English novels at an age when most toddlers are still grappling with fundamental skills.
