Meet – N – Greet with Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta held by VNWC recently
Viman Nagar Women’s Council recently held a meet and greet session with Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta at his office.
This session saw a participation of over 70 Pune residents from across the city, representing different fields. An informal session with Commissioner of Police saw discussion on several topics related to safety, empowerment, education, health, NGO’s, entertainment.
The session was a part of the 4th Anniversary celebration of Viman Nagar Women’s Council which was held recently, said Bobby Karnani from the club. She said that during the fourth anniversary celebration, many members of the club insisted on meeting the Commissioner of Police and interact with him on various topics.
Amitabh Gupta, commissioner of Police interacted with the members which were present on various initiatives taken by the Pune Police in making it a crime free and peaceful city. He also stressed on how important it is to bridge the gap between citizens and Police and various initiatives taken by the department have successfully helped in reducing it.
