Kanak Sahasrabuddhe to join 151st NDA Course

Pune: Kanak Sachin Sahasrabuddhe (18.5yrs) a resident of Pimple Saudagar, will join 151st NDA course Army Wing on 26th Dec 2023. 

He appeared for the NDA & NA Exam held on 16 Apr 2023 and subsequently the SSB Interviews at Bangalore in June 2023, Kanak stood 367th in the All India Merit announced by the UPSC amongst a total of 628 successful candidates. He is a student of Apex Careers and received guidance from Lt Col Pradeep Brahmankar and faculties of Apex Careers. 

A news on TV of Pulwama Attack on 14 Feb 2019 when a suicide bomber attacked a convoy of 78 buses in which 2500 paramilitary personnel were travelling from Jammu to Srinagar, when the explosive laden vehicle rammed into a bus killing 40 members of the CRPF. 

Kanak says “I heard a young boy who lost his father in this attack singing an emotional poem, which became my trigger point and at that point of time I decided that I would join the Indian Army”.

Kanak did his schooling from Wisdom World School, Wakad upto 10th. He scored 94% marks in ICSE Boards. He joined Vidya Valley Jr College in Chinchwad for 11th / 12th and joined Apex Careers coaching for two years for XI+XII+ NDA batch as he was clear to make a career in the Indian Army. Kanak scored 73% in XII HSC Boards. He took SSB Interview coaching also at Apex Careers, where he received guidance from Lt Col Pradeep Brahmankar and other SSB expert officers.

Kanak is an all-rounder. He has had a lot of interest in Cricket. He has been Captain of club team while he studied in class 8th / 9th. Later in class XI, he developed interest in football. He plays Basketball and Badminton too. He is also fond of Chess. Presently he has developed an interest in Boxing. He likes to read books on Mythology. He plays Piano, whenever he gets a chance. He likes watching movies / series in his free time. 

Kanak’s father Mr Sachin Sahasrabuddhe is working as an IT professional with UBS, Pune division. His mother Mrs Kashmira Sahasrabuddhe is a pre-primary teacher with Wisdom World School. 

He has a younger brother Samyak, who is studying in class X. Kanak attributes his success to his parents and his late grandfather. He feels that Lt Col Pradeep Brahmankar Director Apex Careers and all training faculties of Apex Careers have been instrumental in his success.
