A 12-year-old boy from Bengaluru, who went missing on Sunday, has been successfully located at a metro station in Hyderabad after an intensive search prompted by social media. He went missing after he finished his coaching from a center, reports informed.

Parinav, a Class 6 student, managed to evade authorities for three days, moving between different locations. His worried parents took to social media to seek help in locating their child. They initiated an online request to find their child along with CCTV footage showing him walking across a road.

His disappearance sparked concern, leading to a community-driven effort to find him, ultimately resulting in his discovery in Hyderabad, approximately 570 km away from Bengaluru.

His parents have been informed and are on their way to Hyderabad.

“A woman who was previously working in Bengaluru and now lives in Hyderabad came across social media posts of the missing boy and spotted him near the station. She promptly flagged it to the family and the police,” he said.

Further investigation is under way to ascertain how he managed to secure enough money to travel to Hyderabad and sustain himself.
