Moshi School Students Send Rakhis To Soldiers Deployed At Wagah Border

PUNE: Students of Gayatri English Medium School Moshi of Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Prasarak Mandal conducted an initiative called ”Sainikho Tumchyasathi”.  Vinayak Bhongale, Founder and President of the organisation, and Sarita Vikhe-Patil, trustee, welcomed the initiative.

As per the information provided, students of classes 5 to 8 of Gayatri Vidyalaya and their guiding teachers, Asmita Jadhav, Yogita Amarale, and Vilas Khare, were present at the venue for the event. Naik Subedar Bhola Mishra of Dighi and Constable R.P. Khose mentored and supported the entire initiative.

Vinayak Bhongale, Founder President of Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, added, “Rakhi gives a different strength and increases self-confidence.’’

Managing Director Kavita Bhongale Kadu-Patil added, ”Brave soldiers who protect the country by staying away from their families during festivals. The event was organised with the aim of spreading a sense of nationalism among the students and allowing them to express their respect for the soldiers.”

As per the information received, rakhis were sent to the soldiers at the Wagah border along with greeting cards. Students and teachers of Gayatri English Medium School celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan by tying rakhis to the soldiers at Dighi Gurdwara.
