The pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have commenced with a meaningful Anna Seva at Jogwad village near Reliance Township in Jamnagar. Embracing the principle of ‘Manav seva hi Madhav seva’ (service to humanity is service to God),
Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, and other members of the Ambani family participated in serving traditional Gujarati food to the villagers. Radhika Merchant’s maternal grandmother and parents, Viren and Shaila Merchant, also actively participated in the Anna Seva.
In adherence to their tradition, the Ambani family begins every significant occasion by serving and providing for the community, reinforcing their commitment to humanity. The Anna Seva is expected to benefit around 51,000 local residents and will continue for the next few days in villages in and around Jamnagar.
During the Anna Seva at Jogvad, the family members, including Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant, Viren Merchant, Shaila Merchant, and Radhika’s grandmother, personally served traditional Gujarati dinner items to the community.
Following this service, attendees were treated to a delightful performance by noted Gujarati singer Kirtidan Gadhvi in the traditional folk music format Dayaro, adding a cultural touch to the pre-wedding festivities. The celebrations are set to continue from March 1 to March 3.
