In a recent development, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has raised concerns over the pollution levels in Pune’s vital Mula Mutha river. During a thorough inspection, AAP officials collected water samples and demanded accountability from local authorities regarding the river’s development project.

The AAP delegation, led by City President Sudarshan Jagdale, confronted the Pune Municipal Corporation to address the alarming pollution levels in the Mula Mutha river. Despite facing resistance from security guards, AAP members persisted and emphasized the urgency of the matter.

During the meeting with municipal authorities, Jagdale insisted on the formulation of a comprehensive white paper detailing the expenses and progress of the river development project. Additionally, AAP representatives called for a press conference within the next seven days to inform the public about the project’s status.

The party’s relentless efforts also shed light on complaints regarding the Ramnadi river, prompting actions to be taken against false evidence submitted to regulatory bodies. Adv Krunal Ghare emphasized the need for cooperation between AAP and the Pune Municipal Corporation to effectively address the river pollution issue.

Following constructive discussions, municipal authorities have committed to convene a meeting on Monday to address AAP’s concerns comprehensively. The meeting witnessed the participation of various AAP officials, underscoring the party’s dedication to environmental conservation and public welfare.
