Pune-Nashik travel in just 3 hours; Shirdi can be reached directly via Rajgurunagar, Chakan, Manchar

A large number of extensive networks are being created in the state of Maharashtra. Among these, Pune-Nashik Industrial Highway is an ambitious project of the government. Pune-Nashik Industrial Highway is fast and time saving. Due to this highway, the Pune-Nashik distance will be covered in just three hours. From this highway, one can go directly to Shirdi via Rajgurunagar, Chakan, Manchar.

While the work of Nashik-Pune railway line is in progress, Pune to Nashik Industrial Highway will be completed soon. Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation presented the Pune to Nashik Industrial Expressway project in June 2023. The plan of Pune-Nashik Industrial Highway has been prepared and it has been submitted to the Public Works Department. The State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has approved the Pune-Nashik Industrial Highway project.

A network of 4,217 km of highways is being developed across the state by the State Road Development Corporation. Pune-Nashik Industrial Highway will be constructed under this. This highway will be 213 km long. Due to this highway, the five hour Pune-Nashik journey of five hours will be completed in three hours. 20,000 crores is expected to be spent on this highway.

This highway will go directly to Nashik via Rajgurunagar, Chakan, Manchar in Pune. This highway will boost the industrial development of three districts namely Pune, Nagar and Nashik. The IT companies of Pune as well as the industrial sector of Nashik will benefit greatly from this highway. Due to the expressway, Mumbai-Pune-Nashik cities will be connected by expressway. This will benefit the industry a lot.

The proposed Pune-Nashik highway will go directly to Shirdi via Rajgurunagar, Chakan, Manchar, Narayangaon, Alephata, Ghargaon, Sangamner, Sinnar. This highway will be connected in three phases. In the first phase, there will be a 135 km route from Pune to Shirdi. The second phase will be 60 km from Shirdi Interchange to Nashik-Niphad Interchange. This phase will be connected to Surat-Chennai Expressway. The third and final phase of the highway will be 60 km long. This route will be from Nashik-Niphad Interchange to Nashik.
