Pune : The number of people travelling by Vande Bharat Express is increasing day by day. The response to travel from Mumbai to Goa has been excellent. In the meantime, Vande Bharat is now running smoothly due to Diwali holidays and consecutive holidays. That is why the railway department will implement the new schedule on the Mumbai-Goa railway line.

Vande Bharat Express is currently being run thrice a week on the Mumbai-Goa Central Railway line. But now it will run for six days except Friday. The highest number of passengers travelling by Vande Bharat Express are in the age group of 15-30 years and 31-45 years.

Now, more passengers are going to Konkan and Goa for Diwali holidays and New Year celebrations. The new schedule will be implemented on Konkan Railway from November 1. Passengers will be able to travel daily except Friday for CSMT-Madgaon-CSMT Vande Bharat.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Madgaon-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Vande Bharat Express on the Mumbai-Goa railway line has received a good response from the passengers. Currently, Vande Bharat runs three times a week but it will run for six days. Vande Bharat will not run on Friday just for maintenance and repairs.

The Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express leaves Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and runs to Madgaon station in Goa. The train has eight coaches and takes eight hours to cover a distance of 586 km. Railway authorities claimed that this time is 3-4 hours shorter than other fast trains on this line. ‘Vande Bharat’ will be able to reach Konkan in a short time. This is expected to boost tourism there.

Vande Bharat Express has a different schedule for two periods, non-monsoon and monsoon.

Non-monsoon schedule: This train will leave CSMT in Mumbai at 5.35 a.m. and reach Madgaon at 1.15 p.m. The train will leave Madgaon at 2.35 p.m. and reach CSMT at 10.25 p.m.

The train fare of Vande Bharat train varies and the fare for C coaches will range from Rs 1,100 to Rs 1,600. According to the railway administration, the fare for executive class i.e. first class coaches will be Rs 2000 to Rs 2800.

Where will the stop be?

The train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kankavli and Thivim.
