Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has started selling tricolour flags at its ward offices from Tuesday to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative, a success.
The tricolour flag which is made of polyester cloth is being sold at a cost of Rs 24/-. While the height of the flag is 30 inches, width of the flag is 20 inches.
PCMC has purchased 3 lakh flags for a total cost of Rs 54 lakhs. All the eight ward offices will be selling the tricolour flags.
