New building of Kondhwa police station inaugurated

On the auspicious occasion of Sharadiya Navratri, Amitabh Gupta, commissioner of Police Pune city inaugurated the new building of Kondhwa police station on October 7, 2021. 

Speaking to the audience, Amitabh Gupta, Commissioner of Police said, “It is necessary to alter our mentality. It can definitely change our working style. It starts from our workplace. It is of utmost importance to have a working place which is well maintained to work positively. We have altered many of our establishments the beginning was made from our headquarters. We have been very fortunate to have many well wishers and supporters who have made our journey towards making our workplaces beautiful. Our intention is to provide the best services to the citizens of Pune in a clean environment too.” 

Namrata Patil, deputy commissioner of police, Zone 5 said, “It is a great occasion for all of us to have a new place to work. Citizens participation is of utmost importance in constructing in work places meant for services to citizens. This new building has been jointly built by Pune Police, Jehangir Dorabjee and VTP Group .” 

The inaugural program of the new buidling saw attendance of Namdev Chavan, IPS, Additional commissioner of police, East region, Rajendra Galande, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Wanowrie division, Zone 5, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 5 Namrata Patil, senior police inspector, Kondhwa Police station Sardar Patil, local Corporators Sangeeta Thosar, Nanda Lonkar, Pramod Bhangire, Ranjana Tilekar, Sanjay Ghule and many others. 

Sardar Patil, Senior Police inspector of Kondhwa police station said, “We are grateful to all those who have extended help in creating this building.”
