The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Pune has appealed the people who have encroached and have unauthorized constructions to remove the encroachments and constructions on the Kasurdi to Kavadipat road of Pune-Solapur National Highway No 65 at its own expense within seven days.

As per further information, it has been noticed that several people have encroached the limits of Pune-Solapur National Highway between Kasurdi and Kavadipat route. Due to such encroachments, the expansion of National Highway No 65 is hindered.

“The encroachments should be removed by the establishments. It should be noted that these encroachments will be evicted by the National Highways Authority of India Pune under the National Highways Control (Land and Transport) Act 2002 and the cost and penalty will be recovered from the concerned holder,” said NHAI project director Sanjay Kadam.
