Nigdi Police station becomes child friendly

Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate, kicked off its initiative of making the Police station child friendly with Nigdi Police station. The first of its kind initiative in Pimpri Chinchwad was inaugurated recently in presence of Krishna Prakash, Commissioner of Police, Pimpri Chinchwad, Commissioner Sanjay Shinde, deputy commissioner Manchak Ippar, Assistant commissioner, Sagar Kawade, Senior police inspector Ganesh Jawadwad, Shankar Awatde, Corporator Sachin Chikhale, Sharmila Babar, Atul Shitole, Hope for The Children Foundation’s Caroline D Walter and many others. 

Such centers will help in resolving cases against juveniles as well as help in moulding them into a responsible person. In future, two such centers will be started at Dighi and Hinjawadi Police station.
