NIOS Invites Applications For Examination Centres For March-April 2025 Public Exams
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced that its next Public (Theory) Examination for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses will tentatively commence in the first week of April 2025. The examinations are conducted twice a year, in April-May and October-November, at centres including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other institutions affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, or state boards, as per NIOS examination by-laws.
Principals and heads of schools or colleges are invited to apply online to host NIOS examination centres. Applications can be submitted via the NIOS portal at [https://exams.nios.ac.in](https://exams.nios.ac.in), which will remain open from December 5, 2024, to January 4, 2025. Detailed norms for setting up exam centres and the Bank Undertaking Proforma are available on the website.
Institutions are required to upload the completed Bank Undertaking Proforma online and submit the original Centre Acceptance Forms, along with all necessary documents, to the NIOS Regional Centre in Pune. It is important to note that while applications are being accepted, the allocation of examination centres will be determined by NIOS according to its norms and does not guarantee priority to any particular institution.
