Over 2 Crore passengers book railway tickets through UTS Mobile App

The Pune Railway Division has appealed to passengers to purchase unreserved train tickets through the UTS app instead of standing in a queue.

The X handle of DRM Pune says “To save your time, download UTS Mobile App from Play Store and book railway tickets. More than 2.07 crore passengers booked tickets under Central Railway through UTS Mobile App in October 23.”

The UTS app enables passengers to purchase tickets within a 20-kilometer radius of non-suburban stations and a 10-kilometer radius of sub-urban stations.

A senior railway official said that people with smartphones with Android, iOS, and Windows operating system versions can download the app free of charge. The UTS app is user-friendly and consists of various key features such as multi-language support, cashless transactions, and a help tab that provides different kinds of customer support.

Passengers can pay through different digital modes such as R-Wallet, UPIs, or internet banking.
