Ever since Panchayat season 4 premiered on June 24, fans have eagerly awaited updates on what’s next for the much-loved residents of Phulera. Amazon Prime Video has confirmed that the series will return with its fifth season, set to release in 2026.
What makes Panchayat stand apart is its heartwarming storytelling that focuses on everyday struggles, humor, and village life rather than dramatic twists. Season 4 left audiences with significant changes — Manju Devi lost the elections, paving the way for Kranti Devi as the new village head. Meanwhile, Sachiv Ji (played by Jitendra Kumar) achieved a personal milestone by clearing the CAT exam.
The teaser for season 5 hints at lighter moments ahead, featuring the characters in cheerful spirits, with a lauki (bottle gourd) making a symbolic appearance.
