Park Street in Wakad felicitated by MP Shrirang Barne
“Doing a bit for the community is in itself a motivating experience, recognitions are to leave examples for others to join and lead. Residents of Park Street Society in Wakad recently experienced it.
“Anti CV task force* volunteer team of Park Street is happy to share that the residents of Park Street were bestowed an award by the Maval MP Shrirang Appa Barne, Higher Education Minister Maharastra Uday Samant, Siddhivinayak Trust, President Aadesh Bandekar, Ex Cabinet minister Sachin Ahir for the commendable work carried out during the peak of Covid pandemic, ” said a resident, Manish Bansal of the society.
A quick shout-out to our *Anti-Covid task force team* who volunteered selflessly for welfare and covered the ground during crucial and critical phases we all have gone through and suffered. There were still occurrences which were beyond our control and stood in solidarity and grief, added Bansal.
Key activities of Anti Covid task force of Park Street 2020-22 (Residential Society of 3000 Flats) were : Anti Covid task force was formed at the onset of peak pandemic 15 resident doctors gave free of cost consultation to our residents 24×7 Senior citizens were provided with groceries, medicines & essentials Covid patients & working staff were facilitated complimentary meals prepared by our residents Donation of groceries, fruits & vegetables for security, housekeeping, gardening and other working staffOrganised free of cost RTPCR, vaccination, booster dose and other camps to ensure well-being of residents For critical patients Remdesivir, Plasma, ambulance, hospital beds and other support was provided Logistic and transportation support provided to residents as & when needed for emergency and out of station travel Facilitated collection of 60 used cycles from residents which were later donated to needy people to earn livelihood or reach to work or schools Team of Doctors “Helping Hands” included Dr Ashish Gupta, Dr Rohit Patil, Dr Hemant Kulkarni, Dr Sarika Lonkar, Dr Ujjwala Malwade, Dr Pravin Patil, Dr Kritika Prakash, Dr Pooja, Dr Anuj Shrivastava, Dr Mayur Ingale, Dr Anshita Rathore, Dr Greeshma Bhandari, Dr Sudhir Malwade, Dr Narayan Survase, Dr Deepak Arkar, Dr Renuka Dharmale, Dr Kailash Gindolia, Dr Ameet Dravid, Park Street Residents Anti CV Task Force core team consisted of Anupam Fotedar, Prof Deepak Yeole,Dinesh Jagtap, Manish Bansal, Dr Vishu Gupta, Sanjay Jambhale, Sandeep Bajpai Dr Manimala Puri, Parag Tambe, Deepti Potdar, Heamanshi Rally, Poonam Gawade, Dr Kritika Prakesh, Amol Shirsath, Harshal Pingle, Vaibhav Untwale, Vishal Patil, Gurjinder Singh, Priyank Bajpai and S C Singh.
