PCMC Commissioner to take legal action against Mayor for violating Covid19 norms

Pimpri Chinchwad Mayor, Usha Dhore was in limelight for flouting the COVID rules during a Miss and Mrs Pimpri Chinchwad contest held in Chinchwad at Prof. Ramkrushna More auditorium. In fact, Usha Dhore was also seen walking without mask on the ramp, which caught the eye of many NCP leaders, out of which NCP MP Amol Kolhe demanded a strict action against the organizers and violators.

While answering a query by the mediaperson, the commissioner and the additional commissioner, answered that an action has been taken against the organizer of the event, Jawahar Dhore, and have also booked him under Section 188 of IPC, along with collecting a fine of ₹ 5000 from the organizer. Ten women, too, have been booked for openly violating the rules amidst bigger political names.
