PCMC tweets about making the city garbage-free

Public awareness campaigns on cleanliness and zero waste will also be conducted.

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has set the objective of completing pending and stalled projects in the city. Good quality roads along with CCTV cameras will become the norm.  The corporation will also be increasing the parking facilities and solving traffic problems.  

The pending work of roads such as Bhakti-Shakti Nigdi to Mukai Chowk Kiwale BRTS road, Mula river bridge connecting Bopkhel and Khadki Bazar, Dairy farm bridge on railway connecting Pimprigaon to Pune-Mumbai highway, Nigdi to Bhosari spine road remaining at Triveninagar, Kalewadi Phata to Chikhli BRT Road Opposite Commissioner Bungalow Road, etc will be completed. 

The administration will emphasize more on cleanliness and beautification of the city.  Public awareness campaigns on cleanliness and zero waste will also be conducted.

The tweet from the official account of PCMC states, “Municipal Corporation resolves to make Pimpri-Chinchwad garbage free in the new year! Those implementing zero waste campaign will get discount on rent. Besides, pending, stalled projects will also be cleared.”
