Pimple Gurav Nashik Phata Road : Loop from JRD Tata flyover opened for traffic

A descending loop was constructed from Pimple Gurav in Nashik Phata Chowk in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limits to reach Pune via Bharat Ratna JRD Tata flyover. The said loop was closed for traffic till now due to Maha Metro work on Nigdi Dapodi road.

As per further information, now that the Maha Metro work has been completed, this loop has been opened for traffic from January 1, 2024.

Pramod Ombase, PCMC Associate City Engineer, Bapusaheb Gaikwad, Executive Engineer, Vijaysingh Bhosale, Deputy Engineer and Police Inspector Salunkhe of Bhosari Traffic Department were present on this occasion. Ombase informed that this bridge will help smoothen traffic by removing vehicular congestion.

Earlier, all types of vehicles coming from Pimpri to Nashik Phata Chowk through grade separator and service roads were barred from turning left to go towards Bhosari as the descending loop was closed for traffic.
