Pimpri Chinchwad traffic police issues vehicle diversion ahead of Eid-E-Milad

Pune: On the occasion of Eid-E-Milad, the Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police have issued changes in traffic movement in the city on September 30.
As per further information shared by Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police, from Jamate Latifia Masjid, Milind Nagar, the main procession will go towards the PMPML Maidan at Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk, Pimpri. 20 congregations from Chikhali, Nehru Nagar, Wakad, Bhosari, Nigdi, Kasarwadi, and Kalewadi in the Pimpri area will participate in this procession. Around 7 to 8 thousand people will gather at Babasaheb Ambedkar statue, in Pimpri. After the procession ends at the said place, there is a possibility of traffic congestion. Hence, in order to ensure safe and smooth traffic in Pimpri Chinchwad city, some traffic restrictions are being cancelled and the following temporary traffic changes are being made.
